This is an unframed archival fine art print on Moab's Natural Rag paper. The print measures 7x10 inches, including a half inch white margin, and features the illustration Bryana painted for her micro-fiction 100 Word Story "The Lemon Seed"—a Bonus Tale created for the Tales From The Mandalina Tree. Prints are labelled and signed by the artist in pencil in the bottom margin, and will be shipped with an accompanying printed version of the story. (You can also read it below and in the listing photos where it appears in a font created using Bryana's Celtic Uncial-inspired handwriting.)

NOTE: The last four listing photos depict the original watercolor painting, not the print. The second photo shows the illustration and micro-fiction story paired together for your reading enjoyment. However, the story does not appear next to the fine art print you will receive, but will be printed on a separate page.

THE LEMON SEED
The lemon seed looked in the mirror a second time and it was true: she was getting a little dried out. She tapped her skin and it was toughening. “I think” she said nervously that night when the dishes were done, “I may be past the sprouting age.” She peered into the fire so the Southern citrus root weevil wouldn’t see her bottom lip shake. It isn’t easy realizing you’ll never be a tree. “A lot of my favorite people,” the weevil said kindly, “are not trees,” and held onto her hand tightly because they weren’t going to live forever.
