This listing is for an original ACEO featuring a stylized extraterrestrial character painted by Bryana Joy. The Alien arrives in a strange and hostile world clutching a valuable relic from his interstellar travels: a bright five-pointed star. He is a character I invented to come to terms with my upbringing as a third-culture kid, and to reflect my conviction that every traveler from a far-away place brings along something precious and even urgently necessary: a new paradigm, a different point of view.

Painted with professional-grade watercolors on Arches cotton watercolor paper measuring approximately 3.5x2.5 inches (the standard ACEO size). The painting is signed by the artist in ink on the back. This is an unframed original miniature painting, not a print.
