Man In The Moon Study No. 2 (Original Watercolor Papercut ACEO)

This listing is for an original papercut ACEO featuring a whimsical imaginary celestial scene painted, cut, and assembled by Bryana Joy. The moon face and accompanying stars were first painted with professional-grade watercolors on Arches cotton watercolor paper. Each component was then cut out by hand, and the cut paper edges were painstakingly finished with dark watercolor paint. Finally, the miniature cut-outs were mounted to a 3.5x2.5 inch piece of black 300gsm handmade cotton rag paper with deckled edges. The painting is signed and labelled by the artist on the back using white gel pen. This is an unframed original miniature painting, not a print.
