The diorama box is made of carboard, covered with textured paper, and then painted a dusty lavender using velvety acryla gouache paint. With the lid closed, the box measures roughly 3.75 x 2.75 x 1.25 inches. This is not a print, but a one-of-a-kind original painted papercraft creation.
Bryana Says My setting for this diorama is mostly fantasy, but I designed it thinking of late summer evenings spent out of doors with my two younger sisters in a hilly village in Northern Turkey, and how we would stay out until the last possible pre-dark minute before hustling to get back in while we could still claim it was "not dark yet." I wanted to create a scene that would snatch childhood out of the timeline and hold it still for a moment before surrendering it to indefatigable time.
