This listing is for a luxurious unframed fine art print featuring an original watercolor and gouache painting by Bryana Joy. The artwork is printed on 340 gsm archival-quality watercolor paper, and each print is signed and labelled by the artist. Please note that the 8x10 prints include a white border and the 5x7 prints are trimmed on the left and right sides to fit the modified aspect ratio. (You can see images of both print sizes in the listing photos.) Inspired by a photo taken by Bryana in January 2021 at Sandy Hook Beach, New Jersey.

I spent a month working on this painting in spare moments and the thumb gave me a lot of trouble. This will be surprising to exactly zero people who have ever rendered the human hand in artwork, and I can't say it was surprising to me—I knew what I was getting myself into. But it did prompt me to begin referring to the piece as Weird Thumb. I think the thumb is much improved, but I can't stop calling it that. If you want to own a fine art print of my one and only original painting called "Weird Thumb," this listing is for you.

Ships for free within the United States! Please allow 2-4 business days for this item to ship. Prints shipped within the US will be mailed with cardboard backing to ensure maximum durability during transit.
International Shipping Notice
Free international shipping is now available for my small fine art prints (those measuring under 5x7 inches), but please note that if you are located outside the United States, your print will be shipped as a letter. It will be mailed in a Kraft paper envelope with a protective cellophane sleeve but without cardboard backing or tracking. This is because international USPS rates for rigid packages are prohibitive for items of this size. (However, if you'd like to pay to have your print shipped with tracking and cardboard backing, feel free to select the "USPS First Class International" option during checkout.)
