A set of four small giclée prints created from my own original dip pen calligraphy and miniature watercolor paintings illustrating Wendell Berry's poem, "The Peace of Wild Things." In this poem, Berry invites us to step into the grace and stillness of the outdoors and rest our hearts there.

The original set was a commission and has already been sold, but these gorgeous reproductions are printed on textured watercolor paper that looks and feels like the original surface. The artwork is printed on 300 gsm archival quality watercolor paper measuring 4x6 inches. Please allow 2-4 business days for this item to ship.

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children's lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought
of grief. I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. For a time
I rest in the grace of the world, and am free.

International Shipping Notice
Free international shipping is now available for small fine art prints, but please note that your print will be shipped as a letter. It will be mailed in a Kraft paper envelope with a protective cellophane sleeve but without cardboard backing or tracking. This is because international USPS rates for rigid packages are prohibitive for items of this size. (However, if you'd like to have your print shipped with tracking and cardboard backing, feel free to select the "USPS First Class International" option during checkout.) Small prints shipped within the US will be mailed with cardboard backing to ensure maximum durability during transit.
